the contract is signed, what happens now?

We’re so happy that you’re going to become a coliver! 😃 Below you’ll find some practical information on what will happen and what you need to do next.

You will receive an invoice sent to your email address. The invoice includes your first monthly fee & the fee for your starter kit.

We do not accept payment by credit card, only by bank transfer. Pay the invoice using the bank details on the invoice. It is important that you only write the invoice number in the message box. Otherwise, we won’t see who made the payment, and you risk receiving a payment reminder.

If you have a foreign bank account, we recommend using the service Wise. Further, it is important that you select the option that you are responsible for the fee and that the amount should be specified in SEK.

Important to note is that we do not send out any confirmation when having received your payment, no news is good news regarding the status of your payment. However, if your payment is late, you will receive a payment reminder.

We want to ensure that everyone feels safe at COLIVE, both for your own sake and that of your roomies. We therefore ask you to send in an extract of your criminal record*, which you may acquire via the Polices website.

When you have received your criminal record, send the unopened envelope to:

We will also carry out a credit check using your personnummer.

*COLIVE handles extracts of criminal records completely manually (in paper form). After COLIVE’s responsible staff has read the tenant’s record, the extract is destroyed. COLIVE only makes a note that extract have been presented.

Criminal record

We want to ensure that everyone feels safe at COLIVE, both for your own sake and that of your roomies. We therefore ask you to send in an extract of your criminal record*. If you are not a Swedish citizen or do not have a Swedish personnummer, we ask you to contact the authorities in your home country to see how this is done.

When you have received your criminal record, send it to:

Copy of passport

If you do not have a Swedish personnummer, we ask you to send in a copy of your passport.

Bank statements and proof of employment

If you do not have a Swedish personnummer, we ask you to send in a bank statement or proof of employment.

*COLIVE handles charge register extracts completely manually (in paper form) or digitally. After COLIVEs responsible staff has read the tenant’s extract of criminal record, the extract is destroyed. COLIVE only makes a note that extract have been presented. If it has been sent digitally, it will not be stored by COLIVE. The email is not necessarily deleted since it may contain other important or relevant info. If you want the email to be deleted, we ask you to reach out and we will do so. 

 

Given that the above points are approved, your contract with COLIVE becomes confirmed and you officially become a coliver! 😃
