Apply for home insurance
If you're planning to live at Colive, you need to have a home insurance during your stay. Home insurance provides basic protection against incidents such as fire, theft, or water damage. It should always include an liability coverage. You should arrange your home insurance before your accommodation begins.
If you have a Swedish Personal Identity Number (Personnummer), you can obtain home insurance from most Swedish insurance companies. We recommend:
Hedvig or Trygghansa.
If you don't have a Swedish Personal Identity Number (Personnummer), we recommend to obtain your home insurance with If Insurances – you can find the application form HERE.
Internet and Wi-Fi?
Buildings at COLIVE have a tailored and secure network designed for users with high demands on coverage and performance. The Wi-Fi covers all living areas, including the Hangout.
Code of conduct
We have a code of conduct to create a base on which we all agree on. For us at COLIVE, this is very much common sense, but we feel that it is important to express it explicitly and be clear. We want our coliving spaces to be a place for openness and tolerance, a place free from discrimination. We welcome everyone regardless of gender, transgender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion or other belief, disability, and sexual orientation. We value diversity and strives to make everyone feel welcome. Everyone who lives and works in COLIVE’s coliving apartments should be treated with respect, consideration and kindness. The full version is available here.
Where can I find your coliving hubs?
Currently, we have coliving hubs in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Lund. In Stockholm, the hubs are COLIVE Volatus, U25, and Lab. In Gothenburg, we have COLIVE Caseus and in Lund, COLIVE Altum.Â
Can I bring guests to the apartment?
Of course, COLIVE is your home. We always recommend that you ask your roomies and set up some rules in the apartment regarding this, just so that everyone feels OK with it.
Can I move in later in the month?
Yes you can! The contract only regulates the earliest move-in date and time. This means that if your contract starts e.g. the first of January, you can move in whenever you want after the first of January at 12 am. If you arrive later in the month, we ask that you notify your roomies of your expected arrival so they know when to expect you.Â
Get your keys
On the day that you move in, you will receive an activation link where you get access to your digital keys. The link is only valid for 72 hours, so be sure to download it in time, even if you plan to move in later than the day you get access to the apartment. If you have any problems with your digital key, contact your Host.
The only hub that does not have a digital key system is U25. So, when you arrive for the first time, one of your roomies will need to assist you with opening the door at the entrance. It is therefore a good idea to contact them in time to let them know when you will be arriving.
What do I need to bring when moving in?
You need to bring things like duvet, pillow, bed linen, towels, and curtains. The basics like bed, mattress and waredrobe is already in the room.Â
If you can't or don't want to bring curtains, duvet, bed linen, and towels, we can provide this for you. We call it the "Extra package" and it contains curtains, a duvet, a pillow, bed linen, and towels, which we purchase from IKEA and place in your private room before your move-in. The price is 1100 SEK.
To order an extra package, we ask you to go into our app --> Assistant --> Extra package --> Create a ticket, and we'll get back to you there. You'll get access to the app no earlier than 35 days before your move-in date.Â
NOTE - the deadline for ordering an extra package at the latest is 2 weeks before your move-in date.
How many roomies live together in a coliving apartment?
The number of roomies can vary from 4-12 people.
