Meet your Host & check ID when you arrive

When you move in, your Host want to meet you to connect but also check your ID. We always check ID when you move in to make sure everything is in order and for everyone’s safety. But mostly it is nice to connect.

What do I need to bring when moving in?

You need to bring things like duvet, pillow, bed linnen, towels and curtains. The basics like bed and closet is already in the room. 

If you can't or don't want to bring duvet, cover and towels, we can help provide this to your room when you arrive. We call it the "extra package" which contains duvet, pillow, bed linnen and towels which we purchase from IKEA and deliver directly to you. Total price is 950 SEK. 

Please drop us a message asking for a "extra package" and we'll sort it out!

How many roomies live together in a coliving apartment?

It varies from 4-12 people. 🌱

What does coliving mean?

Say goodbye to the isolation of traditional living arrangements and hello to the future of living: coliving. Imagine a vibrant community where you can live, work, and connect with like-minded young individuals. Our coliving spaces offer stylish Scandinavian furnished shared living areas all designed with the needs of young professionals and young curious people. Shortly: you share your living space such as kitchen, living room and more with others, while having your own private bedroom and in some of our hubs also your private bathroom. This is the place for you who want to connect with others!

Can I visit the place before I move in?

Today we only have digital viewings. Simply because it would be a lot of visits for our current Colivers and we want to respect their space. This is why we have made digital viewings for you. What is the shortest time to live at COLIVE?

The shortest contract period is 2 months. Our goal is to build a strong and amazing community, so we of course hope that you like it so much that you'd want to stay longer than that! 😊

For non-Swedish citizens

If you don’t have a Swedish social security number (personnummer), we recommend you to get a coordination number. A coordination number is a temporary identity number for persons who are not registered in the country but who have contact with the country’s authorities.

Why do I need this at COLIVE?

You need a coordination number in order to have the benefit of a home insurance through Gofido. The insurance is automatically set up with Gofido when you sign a contract with COLIVE and is important if something would happen in your home. If you don’t have an insurance and something would happen you will be personally liable to pay for the damage.

How to do it:

You must visit a tax service-office in Sweden, bring your ID and rental agreement to them and ask for a coordination number. Inform them that you need to have this number because of your Swedish rental agreement and home insurance.

  • Do you live at COLIVE Aquila? Then this is the closest office.
  • Do you live at COLIVE U25 or Lab? Then this is your closest office.
  • Do you live at COLIVE Caseus? Then this or this is your closest office. 
  • Do you live at COLIVE Volatus? Then this or this is your closest office.

Code of conduct

We have a code of conduct to create a base on which we all agree on. For us at COLIVE, this is very much common sense, but we feel that it is important to express it explicitly and be clear. We want our coliving spaces to be a place for openness and tolerance, a place free from discrimination. We welcome everyone regardless of gender, transgender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion or other belief, disability, and sexual orientation. We value diversity and strives to make everyone feel welcome. Everyone who lives and works in COLIVE’s coliving apartments should be treated with respect, consideration and kindness. Where can I find your coliving hubs?

We have four coliving hubs in Stockholm: COLIVE Lab, U25, Aquila & Volatus, and one in Gothenburg: COLIVE Caseus.

Can I bring guests to the apartment?

Of course! It's your home. 🫶 We recommend that you talk about this in the apartment and how you want to have it so everyone feels OK with it.

Can I move in later in the month?

Yes you can! The contract only regulates the earliest move-in date and time. This means that if your contract starts e.g. the first of January, you can move in whenever you want after the first of January at 12 am. 🤗 If you arrive later in the month, we ask that you notify your roomies of your expected arrival so they know what to expect.
